SA:International education grows in SA

International education has become South Australia's second largest export .. after wine.

Premier MIKE RANN says Bureau of Statistics' figures show international education has
leap-frogged iron and copper ore in annual export earnings .. and is valued at more than
one billion dollars.

He says Adelaide has earned a reputation for providing world-class education opportunities
.. and SA wants to continue to be seen as the most supportive and welcoming state for
international students to live and study.

Mr RANN says South Australia continues to outperform much of the country.
