NT: Coroner questions police handing of fatal NT smash

DARWIN, Feb 20 AAP - A coroner has questioned the police handling of a car crash which
killed a seven-year-old girl in Kakadu.

Louisa May Turner died when two vehicles collided head on in Kakadu National Park last August.

German tourist Louthar Eibofner, 55, returned to Germany following a court hearing
in which he received a six week suspended sentence for dangerous driving to which he pleaded
guilty just six days after the crash.

Northern Territory Coroner Greg Cavanagh said today the police had allowed the tourist's
