Prudential Securities and Quote.com Offer New Online Financial Information Service

              Stock Quotes Now Available Through Prudential Online 

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Prudential Securities and Quote.com announced today that they will jointly offer financial market data to customers of Prudential Online, the "account access" portion of Prudential Securities' "Virtual Branch Office" Internet site at http://www.prusec.com. Effective immediately, the site will offer price quotations on 15,000 securities. The Dow Jones Industrials, Nasdaq Composite, S&P 500, and other market indices will be included.

The quotes, which will be subject to a 15-minute delay, will be offered through Quote.com, a leading provider of online financial market information (http://www.quote.com). They will include the opening price, high, low, last, price change, volume, bid, ask, exchange, number of ticks, and the four most recent prices.

Stock quotes will also include balance sheet data, including price/earnings ratio, yield, dividend and 52-week price range. The service will be available free to Prudential Online customers who register for it.
